I recently had the honor of appearing as a guest on Pastor Randy Phillips’ show Backstage with Randy Phillips. Pastor Randy is the Lead Pastor of LifeAustin Church in Austin, Texas, and many of you have probably heard some of his fantastic Christian music from his band, Phillips, Craig & Dean (https://www.phillipscraiganddean.com/). Pastor Randy is an awesome Pastor with an engaging personality, and an absolute joy to be around.
During our talk on his show, I discuss how God used the biggest tragedy in my life in a way that totally changed me. I also discuss how Jesus calls each of us to be Servant Leaders the way Jesus modelled, with God as our leader and serving others.
I discuss what I learned about leadership through the mistakes I made in my career, and how Jesus provides us the the best leadership blueprint right in the Bible for us to learn from. I also describe how these principles not only apply to business leadership, but also apply to all our relationships if we want them to truly thrive - relationships with our friends, colleagues, family and spouse.
