Working Together to Eliminate Management Waste
In 2020, I released my book, Management Waste: Five Steps to Clean Up the Mess and Lead with Purpose, in which I share principles of servant leadership that I learned during my career at Fortune 500 companies such as Waste Management, as well as in the entrepreneurial start-up company that I launched. I share Scripture and personal anecdotes to illustrate these important concepts. I’ve been honored over the past three years to speak on the topic of servant leadership to businesses, conferences, churches, retreats, seminaries, and podcasts.
Along the way, I’ve been asked numerous times for a study guide for the book so small groups and organizations can study the content together. At first, I wasn’t so sure about writing another book. Writing the first one was hard enough! However, I eventually realized how valuable it would be for groups to work together to create servant-led organizations. If one servant leader can make a difference, imagine a whole company of them!
